Brownells USA Good Choice for Pre-Cut Radius Frame 29/01/2018

I have been building a 1911 on a Taurus frame (got a good deal). To my disappointment, the good folks at Taurus cut the frame with very large tolerances. When I bought the first Ed Brown beavertail, it was extremely loose, which is what led me to purchase the Gunsmith Version (867-GS). This one fit nice and snug with no side-to-side play.

If you are working with an existing frame that has tangs precut to .250 radius, then I would recommend this beavertail. This gives you enough meat to work with when you blend it to your frame.

I've included photos that will hopefully help someone who is researching this topic.

Next step is to hot blue in a matte finish.
