800732868042 The Ed Brown Concealed Carry Grip Safety is a modification of Ed’s classic 1911 beavertail safety that gives you the benefit of the extended beavertail - protecting the web of your hand from "hammer bite" - without compromising compactness and concealability. The tail protrusion has been reduced by approximately 0.10". Also, the tail profile of the Ed Brown Concealed Carry Grip Safety has been machined to minimum dimensions, so you are free to install a standard Commander-style hammer, rather than having to buy a special (read, more costly) concealment hammer. Separate models for Series 70 and Series 80 1911 pistols (order carefully!) Fully machined from high-grade steel barstock Available in Blued carbon steel or natural matte silver/gray finish Stainless steel Gunsmith fitting required Series 80 requires fitting to .250" radiused frame ears The Concealed Carry Grip Safety from Ed Brown is the perfect choice for any 1911 pistol where the benefits of a beavertail safety are important but overall compactness and concealment are also a priority.
