Another quality Magpul product (04/10/2014)

Lightweight, durable grips with an interesting triangular profile and very good grippy texture. The thumb relief for the magazine catch is something that now that I have experienced it, I couldn't go back to standard panels. It really does help make magazine changes quicker and with no need to alter the position of the firing hand, and is especially useful for those with shorter thumbs.

They fit perfectly, are a good value, and are the same quality that Magpul is known for.

I was pleasantly surprised! Very nice grips, the texture is just right

and they are excellent quality. I put them on my Kimber Pro CDP II and they fit perfectly. Outstanding value.

Grips were purchased for an all around 1911 that is used for carry, range, and intense training. The Magpul grips fit perfectly and the scoop for driving the thumb to the mag release is an excellent touch. These will clean mud, blood, and dirt easily, and are built to last. With other manufacturer's grips running north of $70, it's hard to ignore these. Also, they are practically weightless, which is wonderful for a carry gun.
Lastly, for the G10 lovers, there is a very grippy texture executed with the little Magpul logos. No need for stippling, but it's nice to know that the option is there should you wish to.

Good grips for the money (31/01/2014)

Finally can afford to replace the factory grips on several 1911s without breaking the bank. Nice grippy texture, but not too aggressive that it shreds skin, and unlike some other materials, they don't grab clothing, making them good for CCW. The notch for the mag release is not over-done as some have suggested, and works well with factory length mag releases. Rumor has it they are releasing more sizes soon. Will buy more when they do.

Fit perfectly on a Taurus 1911. Better than any other grips that I have tried and for a better price.

1911 magpul grips (23/04/2014)

I tried these grips for a week. They are cheap plastic. I recieved the grips and the left side panel was warped. But was able to flex and fit my Colt Commander XSE. Just didnt feel right for me personally. If you like G10 or similar grips i don't think you will like these. I like something with more grip.
Now for what i did like and the reasons for 2 stars. The scoop is nice for easy mag release, very lightweight, and wont snag on your clothes. They are Ambi-cut and very inexpensive.
These are just my personal opinions/experiences and have never had any issues with other Magpul products. They will come out with better grips as they always innovate their products. I will give them another try if they were to come out with a new style with better material or maybe something rubberized for a cheap grip solution.

Fit great on my Para Tac S (10/10/2014)

Installed on a TAC S in Spec Ops Green. Installed in less than 5 minutes with no fitting required. They are very similar in appearance to the factory Para grips but a little thicker. Also the thumb groove is nice for easy mag changes. Good grips for the money.

Great Grips! (19/01/2015)

Nice grips, good looking, great value, "grippy" texture, I have small hands and I'm left handed, and these grips seem to make my Ruger SR1911 feel a bit better and "thinner" in my hands than the factory grips...I was worried that the groove on the left grip made to let a right-hander's thumb get to the mag release easier would let my trigger finger drop the mag by leading it over and onto the mag release, but that doesn't seem to be the case. So far I really like them and will probably order more for some other 1911's I have in my collection, maybe some other colors. As usual with Magpul products they are top quality and very functional. A great value!

Fit well and comfortable in my hands. Only marked poor quality because there was one small ugly defect in the plastic on one of the grips.
