Not recommended

improper fit 25/11/2017

My brother bought this product for his build I am currently putting together for him and I was disappointed that the Caspian pin doesn't go through the face of the Caspian slide he ordered. I thought it could be either the wrong pin or the wrong slide so I began changing parts with my Springfield Range Officer 1911 in .45 ACP and my firing pin fits in his. His firing pin also will not work in my handgun. Trying to decide if I want to return it or bring down the OD to make it work. Again slightly disappointed that same manufacture parts don't fit together.

Correct Pin 27/07/2017

Caspian states that all their slides are cut for this size firing pin. When I build a project with a Caspian slide, this is the pin I use I have never had a problem with this combination. Highly recommended.
