Disappointment 30/01/2012

The sites were placed on a Colt 1911 series 80 by a gunsmith and upon test firing the two rear fiber optic rods drop out. Gunsmith at Brownell advised to use super glue to hold the rods. Contacted Williams, they advised to melt both ends of a rod with a lighter. Williams was good about sending out new rods.

These are very bright in the daylight and there very visible in low light as well,But they are not nightsights.They are Great for no snag carry,and out target shooting,competition ect...
