Definitely recommended

Brownells USA Best Buy 06/12/2013

If I were Gun Tests, I probably would say "best buy" at that. I've used these in both .45acp and 9mm/.38 Super, and the unique paddle design is nothing short of phenominal for my grip style. Sans the extension, of course, which might otherwise give you different problems if not careful. It's a well designed, very well made and tough piece. Don't count on drop in for every gun though, just went through fits recently getting one into both an STI Trojan and a Les Baer Monolith. But truth is, it's such a good part that I can't make myself downgrade it for that.

I just ordered my third one of these today to install in my personal 1911s, two 9mm, one .45. All stainless. I really, really like this product. It greatly increases the purchase to lock open or drop the slide. The dimensions are maximum so some slight fitting was required. No more struggling tiny slide locks. Doesn't interfere with holster. Aesthetically different.
