Wire EDM Produced For Precision Fit & Function

Provides consistent accuracy through better production methods. Electro-discharge machined from 4140 steel, heat-treated to Rc 38-40, then vacuum tempered to help retain these tolerances for many years to come. One-piece blade is cut from solid steel barstock, so it won’t fly apart when your shot matters most. Consistent, click-adjustable detents for windage and elevation give precise repeatability.

Well made sight (15/08/2012)

I have used several of these over the past few years. Just a small amount of fitting required to produce a snug fit. Precision made with repeatable adjustments.

Deeper notch is a big plus (06/08/2016)

I had the elevation screw break on the factory sight on my Colt Gold Cup, and decided to upgrade.

This sight is very high quality. Well machined with solid, definite clicks. The bigger notch helps me find the front sight easier and is wide enough to allow some "air" on each side. The fine serrations are well done. This sight allows me to shoot long range with greater ease.

Made in the USA is a big plus, from the great state of Georgia.

Elliason sight (15/02/2011)

I installed this sight on my Colt Python and love it fit perfectly, has very positive clicks and I love the serrated rear blade. looks identical and even says Elliason Awesome Product!!

Won't fit Combat Elite! (22/05/2018)

This will not fit a 1980s vintage Colt Combat Elite. These pistols have an Elliason sight, but retained by a 3/32" roll pin with the slide drilled for same. This sight has a 1/16" roll pin. The Combat Elite Elliason has a "hog belly" in the tang, allowing sufficient metal around the 3/32" hole. This sight does not have that feature and cannot simply be drilled out to 3/32".

Classic Target Sights (10/11/2009)

I have been shooting 1911s since the late 60s. I went from the classic G.I. issue sights to shooting Colt Gold Cups.

This style of sights is good for a person who carries a 1911 as a service pistol that has a need for precision shooting.
