Introducing the 1911 Carry Groove Grips from Harrison Design & Consulting, designed to provide a secure grasp while ensuring a non-snag carry experience.

Product Description

These durable machined G10 fiberglass grips are engineered to be almost impervious to solvents, moisture, and the expansion or contraction caused by temperature extremes. Each panel features five deep vertical grooves along with fine-line diagonal texturing, allowing you to maintain a solid grip on your pistol without the snagging associated with traditional checkering.

The design facilitates a quick shift of grip for reloads, making it easier on both your clothing and skin during carry. The "TS" grips include a thumb scoop on the left-hand panel, enhancing access to the magazine catch, particularly beneficial for shooters with shorter fingers, ensuring more reliable magazine changes.

The HD-300-TS Carry Groove grips feature a beveled bottom, while the HD-303-TS Carry Groove grips come with a square bottom and no pin notch, perfectly matching add-on mag wells. Both options are equipped with the Thumb Scoop for improved access to the magazine catch, minimizing the need to shift the gun in your grip during magazine changes.

For those seeking a slim profile, the HD-300-S-TS Slim Carry Groove Grips are nominally .180" thick and come with the new Ambi-Vertable feature. This pocket allows the grips to be used directly out of the bag on pistols with a strong-side only safety. If your firearm has an ambi thumb safety, you can easily modify the back wall with a sharp box cutter to accommodate your ambi safety.

I purchased a set for a Norinco Commander. ANYTHING is better than the original, cheap, plastic grips, but these are well-made and look fantastic. These grips are not as aggressive as other VZ Grips offerings(this is a VZ product), but they do have a surface texture designed more for concealed carry, and it is more than adequate for a firm grasp.
