Had one link for my build but it didn't fit and I didn't know what size I had so I got the kit. Only needed one, but it was nice to have a variety to figure out what I need.

The links are numbered so it's very easy to keep track of what size you're using. I'm glad I bought these when I got a new barrel for my 1911 because the old link was too short and too skinny for my new barrel. I ended up using the #1 link. Fit and finish was excellent!
