The same high-quality match-grade triggers Nighthawk fits to all its custom pistols. Choose from solid or skeletonized shoe. All models have crisp serrations on the face for positive, no-slip finger contact, but no sharp edges to abrade the finger pad. Overtravel adjustment screw and hex wrench also included. Solid trigger shoe comes in Short and Medium lengths. Custom model has skeletonized shoe and an extra-wide trigger bow for extra strength.

Stock look, Premium Quality. (17/02/2011)

This has been installed on a Springfield Armory 1911 A1 pattern frame. The bow is a perfect fit in my frame with no wobble or slop. The shoe needed a little stoning but that is to be expected, the shoe is the perfect width as there is no wobble or slop there either. The shoe is crimped to the bow rather than pinned and it is a solid unit. I think finding a better trigger than this for the money would be a difficult task.

Great upgrade (22/01/2014)

Used this as part of an upgrade to my Springfield 1911 Mil Spec. Had to slightly file the shoe to make it fit but that's a plus since I could perfectly fit it to my frame and eliminate all slop. The bow fit perfectly in the frame and pulls as smooth as silk. With the set screw in the trigger I was able to eliminate overtravel as well. Fantastic trigger.

Very Nice for the Money (25/10/2010)

I used this trigger in a SS Essex frame Government Model that I built up from scratch. After the frame's trigger channels were coated with Brownell's Gunkote and lapped, trigger feels as if it is on ball bearings. Bow sides are smooth and burr free inside and out; and have no noticeable contact with magazine (trigger pull is same weight and feel with or without mag). Bow length is a little bit long in my frame (could very well be the iffy frame). Works very well once everything (grip safety, sear, thumb safety, hammer, disconnector) was fit together.

My gun smith put this in my sig 1911 compact carry
and he seemed surprised that no fitting was required. I noticed that it fit snugger than the original with no vertical or horizontal movement

The fitting was perfect on my Colt Commander after squeezing the bow a tiny bit. Now the trigger is extremely smooth, precise, clean, crisp, light, and the annoying rattle and the wobble is gone. This [$]part pimped my Colt Commander to look like a $2500 gun. Buy it, it is worth every penny and you won't regret it.

Installed this in my Springfield Mil-Spec. Had to do minor fitting to get it not to stick. Hardly any play vertically or horizontally.

Easy to fit, looks great (27/04/2010)

I put this trigger in my stainless Springfield Mil Spec as part of a "WWI Look" project. It required a small amount of fitting, maybe 20 light file strokes apiece on the top and bottom of the shoe. I think it's a better fit than the factory trigger.

i'm not a gunsmith and this was my first 1911 project that I did the fitting of parts. took me about an hour to figure out what was wrong and how to fix it. its not a drop in for sure on my springfield champion with ed brown beaver tail and safety. trigger bow was too long and had to be filed and polished. grip safety wouldn't work and was blocking the trigger so it would get stuck. had to shorten and polish it also. it looks great and took a lot of play out of the trigger. didn't really effect the trigger job i already had done. can't get over how good it looks. serations on face are done perfect, not too sharp. bow came mirror polished
