Definitely recommended

The Standard for 1911 Magazines 18/03/2018

These are the standard by which all other 1911 magazines have been measured for decades. They work in any 1911 worth owning and are well known to be the resolution to mechanical feeding issues for many knockoff pistols. If these magazines produce malfunctions in your pistol, buy another pistol.

With respect to earlier posts describing difficulty seating a full magazine into a pistol with the slide closed, this is true of any magazine. It WILL seat if you insert it with a moderate amount of force. This is normal as the magazine is full and the spring and follower are nearly completely compressed.

I've not found a lower price and you won't find better service anywhere.

don't work with 8 rounds 17/06/2013

Hoped to use these for IDPA; one in the chamber and then load a full mag (8 rounds) with slide closed. These mags will not seat in my Ruger SR1911 when loaded with 8 rounds. Seven rounds are fine, and slide open is fine, but slide closed and 8 rounds = no go. I can not spot the problem despite some long looks

Other mags, notably Tripp, work fine.
