Well worth the money 24/10/2015
I have been using these on my Glock 19 and Glock 17 for a year now. They are relatively cheap and well worth the money for the upgrade. During malfunction drills while wearing gloves when you're heart rate is up, it makes it easy to rip the magazine out of the well. Highly recommend you purchase some of these.
Great product! 04/12/2012
I have been using these plates in my off-duty Glock 19 for a couple of months now. The recessed dimples in the plates make it very easy to keep track of which magazine is which. I filled the dimples on my plates with yellow paint and my training partners have filled theirs with other colors.
This makes it very easy for us to keep track of which magazines belong to which person. I have painted numbers, initals, etc. on the factory baseplates, however, the paint comes off of those rather rapidly. The recessed dimples really seem to hold the paint in.
Now, the most important feature of the magazines is the flared sides which provides a larger area to grasp in case the magazine needs to be ripped out of the magazine well during a malfunction clearance.
All in all, I highly reccomend this to anyone who has concerns with any of the areas that I listed above.
