Volquartsen made this a reality by surpassing even the company's own lightweight barrel designs with its new 10/22 Ultralite Barrel. The Volquartsen 10/22 Ultralite Barrel builds on the success of the company's THM Tension Barrel through the addition of a specially developed carbon-fiber sleeve that sits over the thin-profile barrel in order to eliminate vibration. This has the result of making for an extraordinarily accurate rimfire rifle barrel, and the light weight of the gun means that transitioning between targets is faster and easier. Each Volquartsen 10/22 Ultralite Barrel features 1/2-28 TPI muzzle threads and is available in .22 LR only. The barrel weighs 15 ounces and is not drilled and tapped for the company's barrel-mounted scope.
