Definitely recommended

Works Great! 16/09/2018

Installed this on a 10/22 I put together for my father in law. He suffers from arthritis, this product makes it much easier and more comfortable to operate.

The handle is made from solid stainless steel, and comes a dull gray color. I did modify it by drilling the handle out to reduce weight and then polished it to match the bolt. This one has been 100% reliable in this firearm.

Many of the negative reviews sound like they were install incorrectly. The small pin holding the assembly together in the package must be removed for the rifle to function properly.

Not recommended

Retaining pin doesn't stay in 30/09/2017

The product originally looked like an awesome upgrade. Then I went to install it. The pin that retains the handle falls out. It's not held it at all. By anything. It's a very poorly designed piece and I definitely do not recommend it. The only recommendation I make is that Brownells stop carrying it.

Worked Good For Me 11/07/2016

I've used this product in two different 10/22's, a carbine with factory black stock and the factory target rifle with Clark Custom trigger group in factory aluminum housing ---- I tried other brands and didn't like them due to scope interference, binding, uncomfortable handles, and so on. This unit has a comfortable handle & fits well ---- Aldes from Canada is correct about the colour, the handle is a grayish/matte silver type colour -- easy solution: I took the handles from my pair along with a pair of PC titanium mag release's to a local gunsmith & had them gunkoted / cerakoted flat black, problem solved ---- Mine worked well for the brief time I got use them before the rifles were stolen ---- I'll be getting another set for the Mannlicher stocked 10/22's recently purchased.
