Signature Series Deluxe Range Bag 06/03/2017

I received my Signature Series Deluxe Range Bag today and overall I am pleased. Even tho you can remove pads intended to carry pistols and gain space it appears to be manufactured with mostly pistol shooters in mind, which I am not. I do have a carry permit and do practice but do not shoot pistol competition. The one thing I do not care for are the "self healing" zippers, I believe that a bag this expensive should have heavy duty brass zippers to go along with the heavy duty brass pulls. I would recommend this bag to a friend but with reservations and I think that any product bearing the Brownells name should be of higher quality.

Why Was this Bag so Highly Reviewed 08/11/2016

My Signature Series Bag arrived today. My first impression was that I must have the wrong product. I made the mistake of watching the video and thinking the Bag would be just like the Bag shown there; it wasn't! Turns out the rugged double bottom appears to be pieces of heavy gauge brown cardboard or light gauge plastic inserted in the bottoms of the inner and outer Bags. Don't suspect it will survive to many trips to the range! The fleece lined Gun cases shown in the video turned out to be the same cheap nylon products I could have purchase at any discount Gun supply. One of the zippers required self healing on arrival. Overall I suspect that the quality of this product has changed. I am very disappointed and will return the Bag. Good news Brownells has a great satisfaction guarantee however I deal with Brownells because I hope not to need it.

Also I gave it one star because zero is not an option.

Well Constructed Bag 17/06/2015

This bag is durable and has adequate storage space for several handguns, magazines, ammunition, eye/ear protection, and cleaning materials. When the bag arrived one of the pistol cases wasn't sewn on the bottom or ends. Brownells immediately made the situation right by having a replacement sent from the manufacturer in the same week. The constructed materials are holding up well, and the only thing that I would change is to add some small pedestals under the bottom to reduce wear. As others have stated, with all of the storage areas it's tempting to over pack. This bag goes with me everywhere I shoot and doesn't disappoint.

Signature Series Deluxe Range Bag 17/05/2015

I just picked up this bag today at my gun clubs annual picnic, where we also had a swap meet. The bag is in excellent condition and appears to be extremely durable and well made. I visit the range 2-3 days a week and was looking for a really good range bag. This is a large, extremely functional bag and I will get many years of use out of it. For the price I paid, this gently used range bag was the score of the year.

I rarely write reviews, but this bag is so nice I'm writing a follow-up. Purchased 1/2010 and often used, at least 2 trips per month to the range. I cannot find fault with it. It is showing no wear and tear (seams, stitching, zippers, etc.) so far and the brown colored fabric hides dirt and still looks new. Every time I load it up, I think to myself how cool is this bag!
Thank you Brownell's for your dedication to quality.

First Class Bag 21/03/2013

This is a really great American made bag. The rigid floor keeps the bag from folding up in the middle when you carry it by its excellent shoulder strap.

The bag has two rings for the shoulder strap at either end of the bag, at the corners of the main compartment. So the strap can be attached diagnolly across the top the bag. Then when you put strap over the shoulder, you can shove the bag back behind you and it will stay there while you walk and/or are carrying other things in your hands. It doesn't swing out to the side and want to slide off the shoulder. Great design.

There is a unique rigid divider system inside the main compartment. There are 2 stiff dividers that can be held in any location by the velcro on their edges, and the continuous strips of velcro along the inside of the main compartment.

The bag is big. Even full of stuff my 82mm spotting scope fits inside.

Nice construction quality and quality materials. Only change I would make is I would prefer a lighter color fabric as it would be easier to see stuff inside - it is usually dark, overcast, or raining where I live.

Wish I would have bought one of these long ago!

My girlfriend bought me one of these for Christmas. I loaded it with 7 handguns and all of my other range gear and still have room left over. I haven't had a chance to test drive it on the range but I will put it to the test.

I researched range bags on the Internet and in stores, comments from purchasers of bags, prices, etc. The description of this range bag captured my attention. It was expensive, however if it meets my needs and I never have to purchase another range bag, then the value is there. I just received my range bag and it is absolutely fantastic. The quality and design is bar none. The inner bag is easily removed to take into the range. The bags are so well constructed that I know they will last my lifetime.

Wouldn't go to the range w/o it...roomy enough for two handguns, ammo and extras. Looks good, well constructed, wears well. I've got a colt .45 and a Browning 9mm in it.

I shopped around for quite a while before I decided to buy this bag. It's a little pricy but you get what you pay for and this is about as good as they come.

It's extremely well made, has an excellent shoulder strap, quality zippers, reinforced bottom, bag-within-a bag feature, gun rugs, pockets and compartments, it's pretty much got it all covered.

If there's a downside, there can be a tendency to overload it because it will hold so much gear, guns and ammo. But the bag is actually the perfect size.

I seriously think there's no better range bag available.

Brownells Signature Series Range Bag 24/02/2010

I have been a Clay Target shooter for over 40 years. I have had quite a few Range Bags, some cheaper and some more expensive than Brownell's bag.
This bag will probably be the last one that I will need. It is that good. I know that I can't wear it out, and I don't know of a feature that this one doesn't have that I would want. Seriously, this thing is built like a tank! Buy It, you won't regret the purchase.
