Brownells USA Not recommended. 04/12/2017

Installation was a bit difficult, as the sizing was slightly large for the receiver, so I realized once it was on, getting it off without damage would not be possible. Function was fine with the Mini-mags and Winchester Power points, however, accuracy was abysmal. At 50 yards it grouped the size of your hand with fingertips spread wide. Perhaps it only likes one type of ammo, but I don't have time, or desire, to try every rimfire loading offered to the public. Waste of money.

The barrel fits tight into the receiver unlike some other drop-in barrels. It required some sand paper fitting before it fully seats. Accuracy is what I bought the barrel for and it didn't disappoint. Under 1" 10-shot groups at 50 yards with bulk ammo is common. It'll do .5" groups at 50-yard with match ammo.

The comp is a great thing. It eliminates muzzle jump. I have 2 of these barrels on 2 10/22s. The one with comp weighs 5lbs and 1 w/o weighs 6.5lbs and comp gun has no muzzle flip at all. However the comp is hard to clean.

Even though the chamber is supposedly tight, it extracts and feeds with authority.
