Extended mag. release (10/02/2013)

Makes it much easier to get your magazines out of you gun! looks good, and easy to use without having to make huge movements which makes it safer than having to push up on the bottom of the gun. Also easy to install.

Bad fit in new 10/22 trigger housing (09/05/2011)

Ruger has changed the trigger housing to some form of plastic, and this part is a very tight fit in that housing. Took filing away one side to get clearance and then re-bluing. Next time I'll choose a different one.

Love this. Assists with the mag removal, but is still fairly low-profile so it doesn't look like an obnoxious "Tactical Tommy" addition like some other extended mag releases for the 10-22. Will order another in a heartbeat for any new 10-22 I buy.

Makes for a more comfortable 10/22 (07/07/2014)

When I first got my 10/22 I started getting pains in my wrists from fumbling with the mechanisms to release the magazine and the bolt. I put in the Volquartsen extended magazine release and the Volquartsen auto bolt release and the results are amazing. No more pains. I really enjoy shooting the 10/22 now with these upgrades. No more pain.
