Innovative, integrated accessory system lets you apply the “Magpul Method” to make the tried-and-true 12 gauge 870 into a state-of-the-art tactical shotgun exactly fitted to your mission requirements. Major components are made from the same tough, hard polymer Magpul uses for their AR-15 stocks to ensure superb durability under harsh conditions. Installs between the receiver and the SGA Stock to provide a secure attachment point for clip-on sling systems, including HK-style, MASH hook, Magpul MS3 Paraclip, and others. May be installed with the loop on left or right side of receiver.

SPECS: Steel, with Melonite coating for strength and wear-resistance, matte black. Mounting hardware included.

If you got the magpul stock you NEED it! (26/09/2012)

Great fit, nice black finish, you just put it on the side and the way you want (left or right of the receiver... facing the front or the back of the gun).

Perfect for MS2 or MS3 sling (I have the MS3).

If you are buying the 870 SGA buttstock and you plan to use HK style snap on your sling, you may as well get this. It is easy to install, it replaces the plastic spacer included with the stock. If, as I did you installed, the SGA stock before this piece was available the retrofit is a snap.

Matches up well with the Magpul Forward Sling Mount for 870.

If you have the Magpul SGA stock, it mounts with removing the single stock screw, replacing the spacer with the sling mount and screwing the stock back on.
