Definitely recommended

Excellent for use in humid environs 19/12/2013

I am an LEO in central FL and am constantly fighting corrosion due to humidity on my weapons. It gets so humid here that I've seen a Glock slide rust in the summer after being touched by a sweaty arm and left to sit for a while.

Rand CLP is slippery (not quite as slick as Slip 2K EWL, but FAR better than any other CLP I've used) and serves as an EXCELLENT rust preventative. It also aids cleanup like EWL and seems to hang around on the metal a bit longer. I can wet my wife's AR15 BCG and after a month, the Rand treated BCG still appears to be wet, while the one treated with EWL (while it still has lube on it) does not LOOK as wet. Rand has some serious staying power. I use it on my patrol carbine, my patrol Remmy 870, and my Glock service pistol to great effect.

Just like EWL, I took this bottle to my most recent carbine class and went about "fixing" various ARs that were malfunctioning because of inadequate (or cheap) lube. Rand got them up and running like a champ.

It has a little odor to it, but it's non toxic and fades after application.

Parts just wipe clean with a paper towel/cloth after generous shooting at the range.

Slide feels like its on ball bearings! Breaks up carbon nicely and does not run all over the place. Awesome product!
