Definitely recommended

Functions as a thumb grip on a MOE stock 12/09/2011

At first I was concerned that this might get in the way on my carbine length MOE stock. I mounted it all the way to the front at the the 2 O'clock position (I'm a lefty... you righthanders will want to mount it at 11 O'clock). Turns out that it makes an excellent thumb grip; providing a very comfortable and ergonomic grip solution on the MOE(Thumb over the top, with the web of your hand around the back for a forward pressure). I highly recommend it for those with a MOE and a push button release.
