Brownells USA chassis 👍 magazine availability 👎 28/09/2018

i bought this for my ruger american .270 win, standard long action. love how it fit my rifle action and truly made a difference in stability and accuracy when compared to the plastic stock. my issue came with finding mags. the polymers have been hard to get a hold of and when i finally did, i had to do a lot of modifying to the mag and it just wouldn’t fit right or feed correctly. i ended up buying the 3.715 inch magazine....10 minutes adjusting feed lips on the mag and it was good to go. if you are looking to buy this chassis i highly recommend spending the additional money for a good metal magazine for it.
