Definitely recommended
Lee ingenuity on display - works well 19/03/2014
These greatly speed reloading 9mm, 45ACP and 223Remmington.
They are 100% accurate (no inverted cases with some attention), are inexpensive, and are simple beyond description. Just dump a handful of cases into the side (not center, where some might go down inverted) and shake. The cases fall into the four tubes right side up in seconds.
45ACP is fine out of the box - no failures ever.
9mm is even more reliable with a washer to shrink the aperture slightly. There is a place for the screw to hold the washer in the middle of the collimator. See numerous you-tube videos on the subject for a variety of examples.
223 Remington now works too after I got this e-mail! "After sending my response I checked our collator and chamfering the the outer most portion of the four holes 1/8 of an inch allows the 223 cases to flow like water through the collator. The collator will no longer work on straight walled cases. I applied the chamfer with an Xacto knife. Try it. Sincerely, John Lee, President"
At the price, having a collator set for each caliber is a no-brainer. I just leave it on the designated press.
Considering the competing case feeders are several hundreds of dollars and a real pain to convert calibers, this is another strong reason to stay with Lee when you go to a progressive press.
Another is, when the bullet feeder is also implemented, you touch no component individually when using a Lee progressive press - no primer tube to fill one at a time (the flipper is the feed tray), no case or bullet to place individually for each round and the powder drop is also 100%. All your attention is spent keeping the reservoirs filled, as it should be.

Works Surprisingly Well 13/07/2013
I am NOT a fan of Lee progressives. Having acknowledged that, I have to admit that their case feeding function was the one good part about the whole system and something I miss on my current non-Lee reloader. This little collator works surprisingly well. Based on its own merits, I will give this 5 stars.
