Definitely recommended

Excellent Scope Rail 07/09/2012

Perfect fit on Savage 10FCP-K. Very pleased with the mounting rail and hardware. The extra lug is not even mentioned in the instruction sheet so documentation needs work, Mr. Farrell. The finish is impeccable and the overall precision is impressive. I used Farrell steel rings, high version, which had more than enough clearance for a 50mm bell and probably should have used standard height rings. But oversized bolt handle on law enforcement model would be very close to standard mount, so probably a good decision. Very pleased.

Superior product on all my Guns 13/05/2011

I put these mounts on all my custom rifles and shotguns. Ken has made a few custom mounts for me in the past. If you follow the directions and bed to the receiver they are rock solid. The extra recoil screw takes all the recoil removing the stress from the 6-48tpi screws. I use his rings also in conjunction with the base.

Great Product 25/02/2010

I installed this mount on a Remington 700SS 5-R Milspec rifle (.308). Wasn't satisfied with the Weaver 2-piece mounts I started with. Installation required bedding of the mount to the action but it was an overnight process. Results were immediate. First trip to the range yielded groups that were only slightly larger than the bullet. After 300+ rounds the mount is as solid as when it was installed. Using Leupold QD Scope rings I saw no indication that I needed to lap them. They fit perfect and alignment was dead on. I would like for it to be a little longer with more room both front and rear so I could spread the scope rings more. Also need room for an anti-cant level and cosine indicator. Current length limits mounting locations for these accessories. Not a deal breaker, just nice to have.

I highly recommend this product. Great quality, great performance, reasonable price.
