Slightly recommend

Brownells USA Not for Weaver Rails 12/04/2016

I bought this from Brownells, thinking that I could install it on a factory Ruger rail, on my MKii or perhaps my 10-22. The AD-22 does not fit a Weaver style rail. If you change to a PICATINNY Rail, it will work. Well, You can always use it on an AR right without sights, right? Nope. It sits too low You will not be able to get your face low enough on the gun. The picture here shows it mounted to an M4, which would make you believe that it would work. It does not. Naturally, you could buy a cheap risers, but why would you do that with a $60.00 mount? At the end of the day, it sits in a box of parts that "was" a good idea.

American defense makes excellent mounts & this one is no exception. In order for the fast fire to co witness on a flat top ar15,you will also need a 1/2" riser
