The CMC 2-Stage Trigger is designed to transform your AR-15 experience, providing a smooth and consistent two-stage pull that enhances accuracy and performance.

Product Description

The CMC 2-Stage trigger easily replaces your AR-15’s gritty, heavy factory trigger and gives you a smooth, consistent, two-stage pull with a crisp, clean break, and a short reset. It’s based on the drop-in trigger module originally designed by competition shooter Chip McCormick to provide all the advantages of a fine, match-grade trigger without the hand-fitting and trial-and-error.

These two-stage CMC triggers come pre-set from the factory with a variety of first ("set") and second ("release") stage pull weights, allowing you to choose a combination that’s best suited for your shooting style. You can select between a traditional Curved trigger shoe or an eye-catching Flat shoe, offering different finger-to-trigger feels that some target shooters prefer.

As with all CMC triggers, the AR-15 2-stage model features a robust steel housing that retains all internal components in proper alignment for easy, fast installation. Generous, precision-ground sear/hammer engagement surfaces provide a remarkably clean, crisp release while preserving reliable function. Each trigger assembly is carefully adjusted at the factory for minimal take-up and over-travel.

Threaded sleeves ensure ultra-smooth pivot surfaces for the hammer and trigger. Two slightly oversized center pins replace the standard trigger/hammer pins to prevent trigger wobble, reduce friction, and minimize wear. Chicago-type screws eliminate pin walk.

Definitely recommended

Brownells USA Excellent 14/02/2015

I do a lot of shooting, and all of my triggers have been mil-spec. I have done some excellent shooting with mil-spec triggers, however; with lighter trigger pulls, any veteran shooter knows you get tighter groups.

So I'm here to tell you that this system really works. In fact, I'm about to purchase my second one. Well worth the money.

Now, they claim the first stage is a pound, but I just don't feel it. Yet, the second stage is very sweet. I'm very happy with it.
