Definitely recommended

Comfortable, better than pistol grip 22/11/2014

I've been hunting my entire life and feed my wife and daughter with mostly venison as a source of meat. Being a minority, NY politicians found it convenient to attack my way of life to further their self interest. I installed on my hunting rifle (a 7.62x39 AR) to comply with the new state laws. Already killed 2 deer with it, surprisingly comfortable and actually less obtrusive than the pistol grip. I found it less likely to get caught on a branch or tree stand rest when hunting. AR is a great hunting rifle, accurate and easy to maintain. Glad this was an option, even if the remote chance the constitution is upheld and pistol grips are allowed again, I will keep this.

Given the current situation in NY we are limited to a few options besides just ignoring the law. This stock happens to be one of them. Upon first installing these stocks I was disappointed in the way they look...it's growing on me. What they lack in looks they make up for in how well they handle/shoot. Very natural feeling and honestly, while holding and shooting the weapon you don't even realize there is anything different. The only downfall is the fire control switch is difficult to operate without changing grip, this is rectified by installing an ambi safety selector. Overall good option for those wishing to still buy/build/shoot ar's in NY state.
