Definitely recommended

Brownells USA Great product made my AR-47 run PERFECT 09/01/2016

I bout a fully assembled 7.62X39 upper with a 7" barrel. From the factory named from a Florida city (state armory) and it did not work at all (& they were not supportive). I went through different buffer weights up to 9mm with no luck. I installed this adjustable gas block and have fired 240 rounds today with no stoppage. Start with the gas adjusting screw in and move it one turn out until your AR cycles to remove the shot round and feed the next. Then go at a half turn more (1-1/2 was too much) This worked for me.

This is a great product if you do your homework and pre-fit\measure all aspects prior to permanently installing it. The one gotcha would be gas hole alignment. If your barrel's gas hole was drilled with the assumption that you will be using a fore end cap then you must shim the gas block out from the shoulder to get gas hole alignment. Also, pre-check the gas tube fit and gas hole alignment as well as open up the gas adjustment screw all the way to expose the hole and make it easy to get visual gas hole alignment. The .750 size fit was perfect on my CMMG barrel which I pre-tested. I selected this gas block because the adjusment screw faces the front and not to the rear of the rifle. I gave it 4 stars because there is always room for improvement.
