Recommended

Good if your on a budget 18/09/2018

This barrel has 2 things working against it.

#1 No dimple for gas block- Easy fix but can make lining the GB up a real PITA if you don't know how and are using the Badger MK12 gas block which is a super tight fit.

#2 The shoulder for the collar is too far back. I pulled the collar off of my PRI MK12 and it lands in the same place. It is fixable if you know how though.

The up side is it is a good price for a 5R barrel that shoots good. Accuracy is just under what my PRI factory built gun will do with 77gr Razor Core ammo.

I was hesitant, but now glad I got this! 06/04/2018

First off packaging, fit and finish on mine are excellent.

First trip to the range with this I ran some IMI razor core 77gr 5.56 to warm up before I started shooting load development for my CLE Douglas SPR.

The barrel shoots fast, as the average velocity over 25 rounds fired was 2830 over the magnetospeed, but it shot very well. After getting dialed in I shot three consecutive sub MOA groups, all in the .8 range, from the prone with a bipod and rear bag at 100 yards.

Does it shoot as well as my Douglas? Probably not but to be fair it shot this anmo better than my Douglas did and with less pressure signs. Handloads will tell the tale for sure but overall for the price Iâm very happily surprised with this barrel.
