Brownells USA A lot louder than stock 28/03/2016

It installs easily to the detent pin on the 14-1LH threads. The surprise was pulling the trigger for the first time. It is way louder than stock and the shooter and bystanders get a heck of a blast. It does limit the recoil to where there is relatively no kick at all. I went and tested it in the middle of the forest. I would not take it to the range. I do not believe it is a fault of the muzzle brake but this ak-47 Century Arms throws the fired shell with a lot of force and unless you have someone looking from behind you, you will have no idea that the spent cartridges are 20 yards away to your right. I bought it to calm the kick because of neck problems but I'm not sure that there isn't a better product out there for less than $100.00. Again, this is so loud with the muzzle brake installed that even with pro level ear protection, it sounds so loud. I had accidentally pulled the trigger before putting on my ears and my ears rang for 2weeks. I didn't make that mistake again.
