State-Of-The-Art Stones Combine Fast Metal Removal With Fine Finish

Custom made to our specs from premium ceramic. The cutting action is very fast and the resulting surface very smooth. Perfect for all trigger work from burr removal to final finish. Use dry or with water as a lube (no messy oil); soap and water cleanup. Less fragile than Arkansas stones. Ground sides for sharp, 90° edges and an extremely fine cutting action for polishing and smoothing triggers and sears, like the 1911 Auto, that require an exact 90° interface for best performance.

BEEN USING THE WHITE STONE,MAINLY, AS THE FINAL HONE ON MY BLADES, I KNOW THESE WERE DESIGNED FOR TRIGGER JOBS, BUT,MY FRIEND IS A GUNSMITH, AND I TRIED THESE STONES FOR SHARPENING KNIFE BLADES, LEAVES A RAZOR, HAIR POPPING EDGE- HIGHLY RECOMEND THESE!

excellent composition and great, smooth cutting action in white fine stone and black med grit stone. Clean easily with water. very accurate 90 degree angle on corners for perfect 1911 hammer work

A MUST for 1911 trigger work! (06/01/2012)

These stones are very accurate and make all rough and final polishing of 1911 ignition system parts a breeze. It's amazing what just 1 pass on a fine stone can do towards cleaning up rough contact edges. Anyone that does trigger work on a 1911 should own a set!

Great stone for Sear work (17/12/2012)

I purchased these along with the Ed Brwn Sear Jig and they work great for the first cut and then with the extra fine for the finishing polished cuts. Very good stones for the money. When you get your stones back home lay them on a glass picture frame or a mirror to make sure they are perfectly straight.

I used this xfine stone with a 1911 sear and jig and got great results. Be aware that you're really not going to "cut" with this stone, but polish. A courser stone might be better if you're cutting hammer hooks or something like that because it will take awhile.
