Not just a "small parts kit, the Nighthawk Match Grade 1911 Parts Kit is a grown-up variation of the model kits you built as a kid - only this one does require some gunsmithing skills. Except for the sights, ALL components in the Nighthawk Match Grade 1911 Parts Kit are machined from high-grade stainless steel, left "in-the-white" with a fine matte finish. The steel sights are blued to prevent glare from spoiling your sight picture, and the front sight comes with a red fiber optic insert for enhanced visibility. The slide has forward-angled, wide-groove, front and rear serrations. Recoil springs are painted for weight identification. Corrosion resistant stainless steel Fully machined components for precise fit & finish Novak front & rear sight dovetails pre-machined into slide top .250" radius on grip safety Extensive gunsmithing is required Separate kits to build a standard .45 ACP pistol or 9mm Luger chambered 1911 The Nighthawk Match Grade 1911 Parts Kit requires no FFL for purchase, since it does not contain the receiver (FFL item), so it can be shipped directly to your shop or home.
