Definitely recommended

My Drop in Barrel from Clark 03/04/2017

Barrel dropped right in and no fitting issues. Link was great with the lock up and movement. I choose this with the compensator for a friend who wanted one for competition and is extremely pleased with it and his ability to stay on target. Would buy another when I need another as this, buy with confidence.

Quality barrel, easy to install. 04/04/2015

A high quality match barrel and compensator. I installed this on an old worn out race gun that was a home build. Previous barrel and bushing were undersized with a lot of play. The Clark kit dropped right in on a slightly oversized slide (most everything is drop in) everything fit snug with no fitting required and the surface of the barrel is nice and polished and the compensator is just a hair over the diameter of a .45 bullet making it very efficient at mitigating recoil. On a 1911 with tighter tolerances this would most certainly require fitting and a lighter recoil spring will increase the reliability with this barrel but it is a high quality, easy to install upgrade for anyone doing target or competition shooting.
