Definitely recommended
This product is World Class 22/05/2010
I recently had to fit a disconnector in a frame with a very large (oversized/out of spec) disconnector hole. Normal procedure would be to place many dimples along the perimeter of the hole, hoping to reduce its I.D. sufficiently. However, I just bought this product and gavve it a try. Simply place the disconnector in the mating frame hole, from the underside. Holdi ng it in place with a finger tip. place this staking tool over the top of the plunger to center it on the hole. Give a fgew modest taps and remove the staking tool to ensure that its starting groove is concentric. Next, replace the tool and give it a few significant taps with your hammer. The result was a perfectly concentric hole which was uniformly reduced in its I.D. Next, place a tapered alignment punch in the hole (from the top side and give it a few very light taps to reopen it just enought. When removing the punch, roptate it while pulling it out. The will give you a burr free and very concentric hole. This tool ranks up there, along with sliced bread! It is that good!
