The 10" Loose Muslin Wheel is designed for smoothing out grit marks and preparing surfaces for finer grits, and is also used for final finishing before bluing.
It is important to use multiple sections to match the width of the polishing motor, with a minimum of three sections per wheel, and to never mix wheels with different grit numbers.
Marking each wheel with the grit number and direction of rotation after it's broken in will enhance wheel life and improve finish quality.
