The 8" Stitched Muslin Wheel is primarily used for initial cleaning to remove old blue, dirt, and rust, bringing the metal to a bright finish.
Loose Muslin Wheels are used after each grit change to smooth out marks and prepare the surface for the next finer grit, as well as finishing before bluing.
It is important to use multiple sections to match the motor width, never mix grits on the same wheel, and mark the wheel with the grit number and rotation direction.
