The Sinclair Chamber Length Gauge allows handloaders to accurately measure the chamber length from the bolt face to the end of the chamber's neck to determine excess case length.
Made of 12L14 soft steel, the gauge is inserted into a fired, unprimed shortened case and will not damage the rifle chamber, with the ability to be reused multiple times.
The gauges have limitations; for instance, the 22 caliber gauge is not suitable for thin-necked cases like the 22 Hornet, and the 30 caliber gauge cannot be used with the 30-30 Winchester.
