The REMINGTON 700 BARREL by SHILEN is designed for exceptional accuracy and performance, ideal for shooting enthusiasts and professionals alike.

Product Features:

Short-Chambered: Pre-threaded to fit Remington 700 actions.
Caliber: .22-250 with a 1-8" twist.
Contour: Available in #7, made from stainless steel.
Length: 26" (66cm).
Material: 4140 chrome moly or 416 stainless steel, stress relieved.

Contour Specifications:

The barrel contours are designed for optimal performance:

Contour #4 for .204 Ruger barrel is 1.220” (3.1cm) tapering to .660” (16.7mm) at the muzzle.
Contour #5.5 closely matches Remington factory varmint barrels, requiring minimal alterations to factory stocks.
Contours #6 and #7 are straight tapered from 1.200” (30.5mm) at the breech to .750” (19mm) (#6) and .900” (22.9mm) O.D. (#7) at the muzzle.

Definitely recommended

Shilen 22-250 w/1:8 Twist 05/08/2018

Very pleased with the accuracy from this barrel. Paired it with a Defiance action, H-S Precision PT-008 stock, and Golden Eagle scope - it's a great shooter. Three shot group photos were taken during load development after running 20 rounds of factory loads through it for break in/cleaning.

One thing to note, if you are fitting to a custom action check the thickness of the recoil lug (if provided with the action). The barrel is set up for a factory recoil lug ~.187" thick lug.

This is an outstanding replacement barrel for a Remington 700P rifle. When properly installed, results on paper at 100 yards will touch each other. Using a Nightforce 3.5x15x56 scope....Robert
