MICRO FINISH SANDING DETAILER KITS
LUMBERTON INDUSTRIES FINER GRIT MICRO FINISH KIT
Mfr Part: 12304 3M Micro-Finishing Film is a fast cutting abrasive for precise, uniform, close tolerance finish. High strength polyester film backing and micron-graded aluminum oxide mineral resin is bonded for durability. This material is ideal for gunsmithing, jewelry making, watch repair, and medical devices. This material works well on both metal and plastic. Each kit contains 3 Sanding Detailers along with 15 Micro-Finishing Film Belts; 5 belts of 3 different grits. The Sanding Detailer is ideal for finishing those hard to reach areas. The abrasive belt can be indexed. The Sanding Detailer is spring loaded to put tension on the abrasive belt. After the abrasive belt is used up, simply compress the tool and replace the abrasive belt with a fresh one. They are color coded for easy identification of grit. Black: 60 Micron, 220 Grit Gray: 50 Micron, 270 Grit Red: 40 Micron, 320 Grit Green: 30 Micron, 400 Grit Yellow: 15 Micron, 600 Grit Blue: 9 Micron, 1200 Grit
