For the Howa 1500 and Remington 700 variants of these magazines, MambaMag offers a replacement floorplate needed to convert a factory stock from a floorplate design to a detachable box magazine design.

Details:

MambaMags use a machined 6061-T6 aluminum top to provide the most reliable locking and feeding.
The lower part of the magazine is made of polymer, which makes it warmer to the touch when the magazine is removed and handled.
The magazine has a removable bottom cover plate that allows the user to remove the inside of the magazine for cleaning and maintenance.
The Howa 1500 and Remington 700 bottom plates use a front latch and rear latch to give the magazines the greatest possible stability while still allowing the magazines to fall freely.

Mounting and compatible accessories:

The MambaMag magazine is designed to fit directly into factory stocks without any adjustments.
However, the Howa 1500 and Remington 700 magazines require a MambaMag or Lucky-13 base plate before the magazines can be used.
The reason for this is that Howa and Remington rifles are equipped with a floor plate design that does not allow detachable magazines.
