Mfr Part: APAR640211M3 815421022445 Aero Precision’s M4E1 5.56mm 10.5" Carbine Upper Receiver comes fully assembled, lacking only a bolt/carrier group and charging handle - the two most popular components for customization. At its heart is Aero’s forged M4E1 receiver that combines the look of a custom billet receiver with "mil-spec" parts compatibility (including BCG and charging handle) and a proprietary attachment system for the included handguard. Aero has fitted the M4E1 5.56mm 10.5" Carbine Upper Receiver with a barrel of high-grade 4150 chrome-moly-vanadium carbon steel chambered for 5.56mm NATO ammunition, so it will safely handle civilian .223 Remington ammo too. The versatile 10.5" length is short enough for an AR-15 pistol build OR for a compact, fast-handling SBR (short barreled rifle) - with the proper NFA paperwork, of course. The longer carbine-length gas tube helps promote reliable cycling in either configuration. Handguard and receiver form a rock-solid, monolithic platform for mounting accessories, starting with the full-length Picatinny top rail. Plenty of attachment points for installing M-LOK- accessories exactly where you want them, plus QD sling swivel sockets at the 3/6/9 o’clock positions. You can get your M4E1 5.56mm 10.5" Carbine Upper with a 7" handguard featuring a front sight base gas block, or a 9" handguard with a low profile gas block. Texture milled into the flats give you a better grip and add to your gun’s unique appearance.
