The EGW scope base is a one-piece Picatinny rail, precision machined from hardened steel for Howa 1500/Weatherby Vanguard short action rifles, requiring no drilling or tapping for installation.
It features Picatinny slot-and-rail spacing for easy adjustments to eye relief and scope choice, accepts both Picatinny and Weaver rings, and is pre-hardened to Rc 35-35 for durability.
The Heavy Duty version is .100" lower than Lightweight models, minimizing weight and aligning the optic closer to the barrel for improved accuracy, and includes Torx screws and wrench for mounting.
