Works as Advertised 10/03/2015

Filled requirement to mount 1-1/4" QD swivel on a CTR butt stock. CTR built-in socket too close to tube to allow reasonable use of a 1-1/4" QD Swivel on a MS2 Sling.

Reference previous reviewers comment, I thinned the wider (.400") backing plate to a friction fit, .325" , which did not bulge or stress the stock. The thinner backing plate, .275", appeared too narrow, and could possibly pull through slot. The limited rotation does prevent sling wrap as advertised.

Magpul really cheaped out in not putting QD on the MOE stock. this solves the problem. Good product, I like that it's steel. Fit is a little too tight, deforms the plastic of the stock a bit, but not a big deal. Because of the slots on the MOE you've got a couple of options as to where to put this. Only drawback is the price.
