The MCTAR-08HD is a two-piece clamp with a heavy duty base and swivel designed for secure attachment to Picatinny/Weaver-style handguard rails, providing a robust front sling point for tactical operations.
It includes a 1¼" wide, 360º rotating, push-button swivel that facilitates rapid sling removal and limits travel to prevent sling wrapping while allowing necessary movement.
The adapter and swivel are constructed from 6061 aluminum with a mil-spec hardcoat anodized finish and steel with a black oxide finish, ensuring durability and compatibility with slings up to 1¼" wide.
