Definitely recommended

By far the best barrel I've every shot 14/11/2017

Used this barrel on a customer build for competitive shooting. With Hornady Match ammo the first range trip was giving .25" groups at 150 yards.

Even after 3 mags without giving the barrel time to cool it was shooting on point. Many barrels and AR accessories are overpriced in this industry but these barrels are worth every penny. Customer service with the manufacturer is also top notch.

6.5 Barrel Review 27/09/2017

I would like to start this review off with the fact I have no affiliation or obligation to BSF Barrel, I'm merely a homebuilder that loves new products.

Just received my 18" BSF barrel for my SPR build and all I can say is this thing is a quality piece of art. The fit and finish of the machining is second to none. This 6.5 G barrel makes the 8th I have built for either myself (2nd) or friends and I have to say this will not be my last. After the build was complete I had a chance to get out to the shooting range with initial accuracy results using hand loaded 120 BT being completely unexpected for a brand new barrel and no tweaking the load. This particular load didn't work so well in a competitors barrel, so, it was sitting on the reloading bench allowing for a perfect candidate for the break-in process. The barrel gas port coupled with quality parts I used for the build allowed for zero FTF or FTE during the entire range session. With right at 100 rounds through the barrel I was able to repeat groups with 3 rounds that can be covered with a dime and 5 shoot groups just under a quarter. I think most of the spread was from scope reticle coverage vs the actual barrel. During the range session I had several same hole hits on the target, so, I'm suspect of the scope at this point. During next range time I will stretch this bad boys legs to around 500 yards or so and see where the results go from there. I will also change out my scope for the Nightforce 5.5-22 to ensure best results in order to verify the barrel accuracy.

Overall I'm extremely happy with the barrel and will support BSF Barrel manufacturer with future builds.
